Journalist in activity since the eighties, he debuted in Rai with Gad Lerner in 1991 in the transmission “Milano, Italia”. In 1995 she moved to Mediaset, becoming presenter, among other things, of costume talk shows and reality shows (Tempi Moderni and Grande Fratello). In 2004 he left the Mediaset channels to move to LA7, a network with which he began a ten-year collaboration. In the autumn of that year he began with the talk show Le invasioni barbariche, with excellent feedback from critics and audiences. Thanks to this new broadcast, he gets a second Telegatto, an Oscar Tv, the Premiolino, the Ideona Prize and the Oscar del Riformista. As a journalist she collaborated with “Vanity Fair”, directed “Donna” and in 2009 she made her debut as a writer by publishing the autobiographical book “Non vi lascerò orfani” which gets good reviews (including that of Goffredo Fofi) and a great success with the public. It won the Elsa Morante Prize for fiction, the Rapallo Prize and the “Premio del Libraio Città di Padova” 2009, and was translated into several languages. The success of the first work was followed, in November 2010, by that of the novel “Un karma pesante”. In October 2012 “L’acustica perfetta” was released, appreciated by critics and audiences and distributed in eleven countries. She was director of Rai 3 from 18 February 2016 to 26 July 2017. She was a guest of the Festival Liberevento in 2022 with her book “Libri che mi hanno rovinato la vita e altri amori malinconici” (Ed. Einaudi).
