Journalist, politician and author

Magdi Allam is an Egyptian journalist, politician and Italian naturalized writer. He converted to Christianity in 2008 with the baptism he received from Pope Benedict XVI. He was deputy director of the Corriere della Sera from 2003 to 2008. Today he is a columnist for the daily newspaper “Il Giornale”. He is the author of various successful essays including the bestsellers: “Vincere la paura” (Mondadori 2005), “Maometto e il suo Allah. Ovvero, l’invenzione del Corano”, published by Piemme in 2017. He was a guest of the Liberevento Cultural Festival in 2016 with the book “Islam. Siamo in guerra” (Magic Press Ed.).
