Cristian Mannu is the father of three children and lives in Cagliari, where he was born in 1977. He attended the historic Liceo Ginnasio “Siotto Pintor” (the same as Sergio Atzeni, Francesco Abate and Flavio Soriga), only the thesis separates him from the degree in Italian philology. For about ten years he has been working as a commercial for a credit institution around Sardinia. With his first opera “Maria di Ìsili” he won the 2015 Calvino Award. He was a guest of the Liberevento Cultural Festival in 2016 with the book “Maria di Isili” (Giunti Ed.).
