Journalist and author

She worked as editor-in-chief at the periodical “Noi donne”, then at “Il Manifesto” and in the editorial staff of “l’Unità”, “Rinascita” and, again, a columnist for the newspaper “Il Riformista”. In 1998 she became the spokesperson for the then secretary of the Communist Refoundation and former President of the Chamber of Deputies, Fausto Bertinotti, of which she edited, with Rina Gagliardi, a volume “Devi augurarti che la strada sia lunga” (Ponte alle Grazie 2009). She was host of “Otto e mezzo” for three years together with Giuliano Ferrara. She published “Di questo amore non si deve sapere” (Ponte alle Grazie 2015), winner of the Comisso Award. Among her other titles, always released with Ponte alle Grazie: La colpa delle donne (2006), Prime donne. Perché in politica non c’è spazio per il secondo sesso (2008). She was a guest of the Liberevento Cultural Festival in 2019 with the book “Una donna può tutto. 1941: volano le Streghe della notte” and in 2020 with “Mara. Una donna del Novecento” (Ponte alle Grazie Ed.).
