Journalist and author

Gianni Zanata was born, lives and works in Cagliari. He is a journalist, writes stories, novels, short stories, plays and sings. He adapts his lyrics for readings aloud, theatrical and musical performances. As a journalist he started working on the radio in the 1980s. Then the press, TV, institutional communication and the web. He published three novels (“Dettagli di un sorriso”, Quarup, 2012, ” Non sto tanto male”, Quarup, 2011, “Prestami una vita”, Rebus Editions, 2008) and dozens of short stories scattered in as many anthologies. He is part of the Dylanisti Anonimi and is one of the founders of Verbis Media. Among his latest publications: “Amsicora, un eroe, un quartiere”, for the volume “Ogni luogo ha la sua voce” (Palabanda Edizioni, 2019), “Non ti capisco più”, for the volume ” Scrittori da palco 2 e 1/2. Antologia delle pubbliche letture del festival letterario Sulla Terra Leggeri”(2018),”# Cagliari1″ for the volume “Back To Sardinia – in the footsteps of D.H.
