Liberevento Festival…in autumn!

Liberevento Festival…in autumn!

29 November – 21 December 2024

Liberevento 13th edition

We are happy to announce four special events to celebrate the autumn season!

The first two events will be dedicated to the students of the Satta-Spano-De Amicis Institute in Cagliari:
– On Friday, 29 November, Monica Tronci Pau will present her book ‘Il Diario di Eleonora d’Arborea – L’infanzia di una Regina’ (S’alvure Editore), tracing, between historical truth and fiction, the history of Sardinia, in a journey through the Judicial/Medieval period. This will be followed by a plasticine creation workshop entitled ‘Creo la Storia tra la mia mani’ (‘I create history in my hands’), in which pupils will be inspired by the fascinating story of the Sardinian Giudicessa during the creative moment.

– On Wednesday 4 December, Roberto Abutzu will instead present ‘Neko’ (Pettirosso 2023). His novel, amidst twists and turns, reality and fantasy, will take the children to the edge of reality in a myriad of surreal situations with the spectacular landscapes of Sulcis as a backdrop.

On 20 and 21 December, the Festival will move to the Cagliari Airport Library, Cagliari-Elmas Airport Library, with two evenings dedicated to authors from our region, between dialogue and culture.

On Friday 20 December, we will be in the company of Giuliana Carta and her crime novel ‘Quando il gioco si fa duro’ (Amicolibro 2024), and on Saturday 21 December, Marcello Murru will present his latest book ‘Stanze’ (Pettirosso Editore 2024), a gripping thriller that keeps the reader in suspense from the first to the last page!

Participants in the event will receive a coupon to pay for parking at the symbolic cost of €1.

We remind you that booking is required.
