Antonino Tamburello

Neuropsychiatrist and Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapist

With over 50 years of experience in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy, he is a reference figure at national and international level. Founder of leading academic and scientific institutions, he has dedicated his career to research, teaching and clinic. His innovative methodology, known as Cognitive Causal Therapy, represents an evolution in the field of modern psychotherapy.
Founder of the Skinner Institute in Rome (1973) and Naples (1999): Centers of Excellence for Training and Clinical Therapy in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy and of the Degree Course in Psychology at the European University of Rome, he held the position of Coordinator and Extraordinary Professor of Clinical and Community Psychology (2005-2014).
He is the author of Causal Cognitive Therapy: An innovative model that integrates the cognitive approach with an investigative investigation based on deductive logic and the search for the root causes of psychological suffering. He was a guest of the Liberevento Cultural Festival in 2025 with the book “L’amore nasce eterno” (Ed. Mondadori).
