Born in Jerzu, in the province of Nuoro in 1958, Gesuino Némus is actually Matteo Locci’s nom de plume. After countless professions, he made his debut in fiction in 2015 with “La teologia del cinghiale”, winning the Campiello Prize in the Opera Prima section, reaching the final at the Bancarella Prize and winning the John Fante Prize. With his second novel “I bambini sardi non piangono mai”, published the following year, won the 17th edition of the Fedeli Award. He was a guest of the Liberevento Cultural Festival in 2018 with the book ” I bambini sardi non piangono mai” and in 2020 with the book “L’eresia del Cannonau” (Elliot Ed.).
