Born in Carbonia in 1946, she graduated in Medicine and Surgery. She left at the age of 25 for Africa, with the Paduan NGO “Medici con l’Africa CUAMM”, after her return she worked for 33 years as a hospital pediatrician at the Ulss in Vicenza. Once she retired, she left, with the same NGO, and with the A.Mo Association, to collaborate on health projects in the poorest African countries, such as Nigeria, Mozambique, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, South Sudan and, briefly, Malawi and Uganda. She was a guest of the Liberevento Cultural Festival in 2014 with the book “Un cielo pieno di stelle” (Akea Ed.).
