In “Astor Piazzolla. A life for music” María Susana Azzi captures the life of this extraordinary Italian-Argentine musician. Thus, we discover the man and the musician, a controversial revolutionary genius who transformed tango into music to listen to, not to dance, in which the influences of jazz, klezmer and contemporary classical music are clearly felt. Azzi offers us the most complete biography of this surprisingly gifted musician.
