There is no life that cannot be recovered. Casa Emmaus is based on this principle, a voluntary association that in thirty-two years of activity has represented a place of rebirth, and a large family, for about six thousand people. This book photographs a unique reality in Sardinia through the voices and stories of its protagonists. Men and women, girls and boys with addiction or psychiatric problems, with eating disorders or migrants from Syria and Africa tell firsthand their experience during the community journey. The heads of the various structures and the members of the multidisciplinary teams who work every day to achieve even a small change speak.
