International literary award “A vuxe de Câdesédda” – 6th edition 2026

International literary award “A vuxe de Câdesédda” – 6th edition 2026

In the spirit of remembrance and words, as every year, the International Literary Prize ‘A vuxe di Câdesédda. In memory of Bruno Rombi’ returns for its 6th edition, promoted by the Contramilonga ETS Cultural Association and the Rombi heirs, with the patronage of the Municipality of Calasetta.

The competition celebrates the written word as a tool for memory, identity and creativity. Established in 2021 in memory of Bruno Rombi – poet, writer, journalist, literary critic and painter, born in Calasetta (Sardinia) and who passed away in Genoa in 2020 – the award recognises works that evoke deep emotions, recount cultures and traditions, and open new horizons in contemporary fiction.
Open to authors from all over the world, it stands out for its international scope and its ability to build bridges between stories, languages and generations, embodying the spirit of a festival dedicated to freedom of expression and the discovery of authentic voices.

The competition is open to writers and poets of all nationalities and is divided into three sections:

– poetry and short stories in Italian;
– poetry and short stories in Tabarchina;
– published poetry and short stories.

The winners will be announced during a special evening in August as part of the 15th edition of the Liberevento 2026 Cultural Festival, set against the enchanting backdrop of the Torre Sabauda in Calasetta!

Find out how to participate and submit your entry by 30 May!
